Set in the 1950-60’s when sex is becoming an open subject of discussion and study.   The series tells the story of Masters and Johnson (Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson) who are portrayed by Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, respectively. The series has received critical acclaim.   The very complicated and sometimes sordid relationship between Master & Johnson is extremely well portrayed — along with all the other relationships.
