This is the perfect film for parents who are worried about the impact of social media.  This marvelous musical is about a “music man” who uses parents fears about how their children are going astray.  However, in the 1920’s parents feared comic books and pool halls. 

It is also a sweet portray of small town America in 1910’s.  Plus there is a wonderful redeeming romance.

The music alone makes this show worth watching.
