This is a tense psychological crime show.  What I love is how smart the main characters are.  The lead female detective is sharp, driven and flawed.  The serial killer is a deceptive “good” guy. 

The psychological games the serieal criminal plays with the lead female detective — and her response — are what makes this show engrossing.
