This show is about Queen Victoria and her loving supportive relationship with her husband Prince Albert.

What I loved aobut this show is how Victoria is a strong smart caring Queen — without acting like a strident feminist.  Also amazing is how the show postively portrays Prince Albert.  He is a man of his own making.  He creates ways for him to add value to the throne — all the while being a loving supportive husband.
